Attack from Space
This past Friday (February the 6th) I went to the Museum of Natural Sciences in Raleigh to see "Attack from Space", sponsored by Skip of AV Geeks. Skip has been doing this for a while and I can't believe that after being back in Greensboro NC. for just over a year, this is the first one of these events I've attended. The crowd was great, the movie was wonderfully horrible, and hilarious, everybody seemed to have good time. So if you live near Raleigh NC. I would suggest you check out one Skip's shows. The schedule is available at AV Geeks.com.

For those of you who are curious about what you missed, you can watch film in its entirety below.

Adobe AIR
Adobe recently released Adobe AIR which stands for Adobe Integrated Runtime. In a nutshell this lets me easily build cross platform applications. The example below is a movie player that contains all 13 episodes of the Universal movie serial "Great Alaskan Mystery" I plan on making a bunch more of these so let me know what you think.

The "Downloads" section features the MacOSX ACM widget as always. I've also made some new movie players. The first one is Homefront that features short films and movies from WWII, all neatly packaged in a small Win/Mac DVD like application.

There is plenty of stuff here to enjoy for almost all classic movie buffs, I hope you enjoy our stay. If you have any comments you can email me here. Thanks, until next time.
